Useful Links

Below is a list of links to sites that we believe you may find interesting.   Please note St. Thomas' is not responsible for the content of external sites, please take the time to review our privacy policy:

'Ebbsfleet' the website of the Bishop of Ebbsfleet, our Provincial Episcopal Visitor or, 'Flying Bishop'.  Bishop Andrew provides us with pastoral and sacramental jurisdiction.

'Forward in Faith' the umbrella group within the Church of England for Catholics.  St. Thomas' subscribes to its code of practice and Communion statement.

The Diocese of Coventry is the official website for the churches around the Coventry and Warwickshire area keeping you advised about  who's who and what's going on.

Universalis - a useful website which provides all the offices and daily Mass readings.  You are even able to download them to your palmtop or PDA!

'Sacred Space' is one website that you would choose to recommend and use for Daily Prayer on line.  It is a resource that will appeal to all.  It consists of a daily meditation which is accessed by a click of the mouse, there follows a series of meditations in rolling fashion all of which are centred on a particular daily passage of scripture.  The site's creators recommend that  users take about ten minutes on a daily basis to work through the meditation.

'World Community for Christian Meditation' WCCM is a website 'aiming to assist you in your daily practice of Christian meditation'.  Benedictine in origin this site is the internet presence of the World Community for Christian Meditation.

A multi-lingual website Taize has a myriad of useful resources to offer.

Walsingham  has been a place of pilgrimage for centuries and a place we at St. Thomas' visit regularly.  A cyber visit is fine - and hopefully this web site will give you a sense  of what the Shrine is all about.   But to come to Walsingham in person, to walk the Holy Mile, to sense the holiness and prayerfulness of the Holy House and the Shrine Church is what Walsingham is really all about. Do come. You will be most welcome.

Salem Baptist Church one of the local Baptist Churches in Longford founded in 1759 as offshoot of the church at Barton in the Beans, the third building to be built on the current site.

Support us by visiting Fundraising for St Thomas where you will find choice savings and value whilst raising money for us at the same time.
